We need to replace the footervalve on our well. The drop pipe is 1.25" galvanized and I am told it is about 65' deep. What do you use to prevent the pipe from slipping/falling back into the well? Any sort of special clamp? On a side note is galvanized the correct type of pipe to use for the drop pipe?
thanks

hi
if can make a scafold on top of the well and start lifting the pipe out.
It should be in section of ten feet so you could used a pipe clamp to secure it to prevent it going doing the well and keep going till its all out
