Clogged Pipe?

For about the past week or two i have noticed that none of my toilets flush correctly the first time (after a few hours of no use), basically the water swirls up and the level rises but it never gulps, the second time around always works perfectly. I had no issues today running the dishwasher, shower, and several laundry loads at the same time. Septic was cleaned and a new pit(?) set up in 2001. I put some Rid-x in Friday night. I want to think that there maybe a clog but it seems to me like it would flush the first time but not the second. Ideas? We have had a bunch of rain over the past few months, not sure if that would cause this or not. Should i try acid or is that going to cause problems?

Definitely do not use acid in your situation. I would check for the operation of the toilets inside the tank; it seems from the way you describe that it may be isolated and not including the entire drainage system.

Let us know your results.
