I'd like to know if there will be a problem with my leechfield if I add fill dirt on top of it and re-grade it along with most of my front yard? Most of this dirt will cover a drain pipe across my yard from a dry well to drain off rain water that currently runs across my front yard. Right now, the leechfield does get a little wet in the winter months. No sewer smell though. Thanks in advance...

My neighbor has a 2 pipe jet pump and she found that her pump was cycling alot, so she had someone come over and check the pressure tank. When they checked the valve at the end of the tank water came out. So they replaced the tank. After the tank was replaced she found that she had no sustainable pressure and the pump cycled more frequently then she thought it should, so I went over to investigate. What I found was 50psi on the bladder in the pressure tank and I also saw that it was slowly losing pressure according to the gauge in the pump. So, I saw that it was a 30-50 pressure switch and I set the air in the tank to 28psi. That helped with the pressure but I still have the problem with it losing pressure. I saw that it had a few leaks on the discharge side and I fixed those and I also installed a new isolation valve on the discharge side. With that valve shut it is still losing pressure and every once in a while it will cycle at around 40psi for just a second. The foot valve is about four years old and the pressure switch is realitively new. I am at wits end.
