I think I need a new pressure tank.
Currently I have a Well-Rite WR-100 32 gallon for a 4 bedroom 3.5 bath house 3300 sq. ft.
The tank is not that old 5-6 years.
The pump was cycling and I drained and pumped up to 50lbs as the cut in is 52/out 78.
I still think this could be the air valve on top failing but am sick of fooling with it.
Allready have pumped it upo 4 times.
This last time it took longer to loose pressure after I replaced valve stem.
What is the best tank?
Should I get larger one?
Shouild I get a Amtrol'R Digital Control?
Thanks in advance for all help.

Hopefully you do not have cycling with NO water being used, as then that would mean check valve bad or leak in pipe underground/down in well casing.

Our Well-X-trol is original to the house, I think; about 13 years. At least 8 years, we bought the house in '99.

I just spent over 4 hours changing out a basically brand new Pro-Source by Pentair pressure tank for a client. The salesman said the factory "was having problems with those a while back". The factory pays $0 for in warranty labor, and only needs the label back for warranty replacement, which means I need to dispose of the old unit as well. I bought this to save my customer money over the Well-X-Trol equiv. that I used to use all the time because they've always seemed to last the longest. I would have made a little more money selling the Well-X-Trol, also. I'm not happy with how much the Pro Source cost me today. My next customer is going to get a Well- X-Trol.
