pressure problem

pressure problem

live on farm with a well, about 35 deep from foot value to pump. installed a new shallow jet pump about 3 months ago. worked fine till now. pressure will not climb to point of pressure switch shutting off pump - pressure mounts till 35 psi, pump continue to run. If i open a tap, can hear pump pushing through more water, pressure drops somewhat but not too low. I have both a galvanized tank and a bladder tank on system (galvaized tank is not water logged and bladder is holding its air). So a little puzzelled. any ideas before I start tearing the thing apart?

Have you checked if you have water there at 35 ft ??

I have seen this problem when the orifice in the jet gets a chunk of dirt in it. Could be a small pebble, stick or chunk of rust.
