Pump Recommendations
We are looking for recommendations for new submersible pump for our cabin well. have not been able to find comparisons on the web on reliability, cost, etc. Current well to be abandon and new well to be drilled. Expect 12-15 gpm. Well will be 100feet deep (estimate). thanks for any help. bendor

This is a wide open question that could be answered any number of ways. Most people in the pump/well business have their favorite pump brand. There's Goulds, Red Jacket, Starite, Berkeley, Aermotor, Franklin, AY McDonald and a host of others.
Your best bet would be to discuss your options with your well/pump guy. Many manufacturers offer a 5 year warranty out of the box, while others may offer 3 years, or even one year.
My suggestion is to buy a brand name that is readily available in your area, so if in the event you need parts, you can get them.
