Sump pump discharge.

I'm discharging water from a sump pump outside of my house. Water goes through 1 1/2" hose for about 40 feet on a slight decline. Will the long distance bother the pump or maybe even brake it?

No, it shouldn't hurt the pump. If you are using the corragated hose and your pump runs in the winter, you would be better off using a smooth pipe as the hose tends to freeze more readily with all the grooves inside trapping water.
