Your tank is water logged or the bladder is busted.
Read this STICKY and it will help put you back in business.

Drain all the water out of the tank, check the pressure in the tank. It should be 2psi less than the cut in pressure of the pressure switch. If your pressure switch is 30 on and 50 off,, there should be 28psi in the tank when you check it with out the water in it.
If when you check the pressure and water comes out the valve stem, that means the bladder is busted, and its time for a new tank.

"If when you check the pressure and water comes out the valve stem,"

He means if you check it while it is full of water, not after you have emptied it and checked it.

Thanks Vey, It would make more since that way.

Unless the bladder was busted, it was full of water. I have seen that happen a time or two. It is possible for water to come out either way.
