OK this morning I noticed my Myer jet pump was losing head pressure.(gage quickly drops to zero)
I still have house pressure so it has me a bit confused.
The pump reprimes and will pressurize the system, and as stated the system stays pressurized.
Once the system is up and the pump shuts down, I can hear the pump sucking air around the area of the impeller & motor junction of the pump.
Is this a foot valve issue??
Is it possible a seal is bad on the pump?
thanks in advance!

jet pump sucking air
My guess is the foot valve is letting water drain back down the pipe.
If the pump is not leaking, replace the foot valve.
Measure the water level in the well.
this year there is a drought in the Western U.S. . Water level in my well is down 10%,
Best of luck: bob
