maybe clogged

Hello, I am having a problem with my sewer I think. Wheat her we are doing laundry or not water is leaking out the bottom of our washing machine. The water smells horrible. Could we have a blockage?

Welcome to the forums!

Can you pull the washer out to get a better look see? or maybe remove the front panel? If it's the drain pipe you'd likely have water stains on the wall. What is underneath the laundry room?

The first thing to check is the drain hose. It should be stuck into the drain pipe, sometimes they will work there way out from the washer vibrating. Your drain hose may have fell unto the floor or even if it's barely stuck in the drain it can allow some of the water to go on the floor.

No it is in place. It is a lot of water. The water comes out from under the washer and happens weather laundry is being done or not

So the water is still coming out? Have you unplugged the washer? You'll need to get under or behind the washer to better inspect it.

If the water comes out while the washer is unplugged/turned off it means you probably have a broke or loose hose. There should be 2 valves behind the washer, 1 for hot water and 1 for cold. Turning off one or both of them will stop the water flow.
