No water from well
I'm hoping someone will be able to help me troubleshoot my well problem.
I have a newer home (2 yrs old) and the well has constantly been producing heavy sediment in our water. No big deal, except we have to replace our whole house filter once a month or so... at least until we can afford a backwash system.
Anyways, we were running the water throughout the day and all the sudden the water pressure dropped. We shut off the tub we had going, turned it back on after a few minutes it had normal water pressure for about 15 second, then it completely stopped. I checked our pressure tank, the PSI reading went down to zero. I checked the bladder pressure and it was about 28 PSI. I turned the circuit breaker to the well and the control/pressure switches off and back on, but that didnt do anything.
Lastly, because our pressure switch doesnt have a lever for the automatic cut off, I was told to unscrew the pressure screw (to allow lower pressure) a few times and hopefully it'll fill up (after turning off the power of course). Still, have no luck. I've tried contacting well professionals but it's sunday so no luck until tomorrow. Any advice anyone has would be appreciated... thanks!
