Question Water Powered Sump Recommendations?

Is there any kind of buying guide on this? I have the waterline run, now I need to pick up a pump

I scanned these forums... I saw someone post something on a Zoeller pump--is that a good brand?

I really dont want to get 'home depot quality' for such an important item... Should I try contacting plumbing supply places?

Thanks in advance!

We need more information! How deep is the well? How far is the well from your home? What size waterline did you install? How big is the well casing? Can you run electric to the well head? You give us the answer to these qestions and we may be able to help.

Two models that I'm aware of......

The Liberty SJ-10 is a popular unit.

The other model is the Basepump pro. Different design a little more efficient. More costly.

thanks! These are the two that I have found on Amazon.

WRT the sump pit: not sure of exact measurements. I would hazard a guess that its a 6' shot up an out of the basement. Pit is 2-3' in diameter. I had plumber run 3/4" copper to the pump area while he was doing other work.

I believe 3/4" is required to supply them.... so that was a good choice.

Sorry, I was confused. I thought he was asking about a Ram Pump.
