Well/sprinkler: what am I missing ?

Just cut back an over grown plant and discovered the remains of an old well/sprinkler system. Id like to revive it if possible. If any can identify whats there and or missing id appreciate it. I assume the 2 pieces of pvc going left and right lead to either side of the house. Know its missing a pump, but other than that im clueless as to whats there or missing.

Thanks ahead of time

From the pictures it's very hard to see anything usable for a well system. I see a contactor that may have controlled the pump.

Is there a sprinkler/timer controller there ?

I see the covers off those "holes". Can't really tell what they are.
I don't see a typical well head in your pictures.

The fourth picture looks interesting. Can you clean some dirt off and around the fitting so we can see it better.

Thanks for fixing the photos. It didnt turn out so well using my phone to post.

Well the 1st photo that bit of pvc was attached to the piece in the ground. Broke it off hacking the bush away. Not sure what the brown capsule thing is. In going to dig out those covered holes and the metal piece this weekend. Will update. Only thing electrical after thieves is what you see in that box. Ill probably shove the hose down what i think is the well to flush out all the dirt and see what happens

That looks like it may be some type of well head or point connection but it isn't something I'm familiar with.

Another member or pro may have more info to add.

The brown thing may be a filter or sand trap, see if it screws off. Trying to guess why 3 pipes. It may have had a diverter valve there. Run a hose in those pipes and see if you get water out of sprinkler heads. electrical could have either a timer or shut off switch.

Tried a hose in all the pipes, just spilled back out after a few seconds. I assume the valves somewhere are closed.
And yes i assume there was a valve or T between the 2 sections at one point. The brown thing my father said is a sand filter. Its empty

Dug out around the well to get an idea where it goes. The big side is the well, then it u turns it back under ground about a foot then 90s over near the house and comes back up where the pump should be. Where the metal pipe meets pvc is broken. Any ideas how to get the big cap off the top of the pipe? Ive tapped, pryed, wd40d. Pipewrenched, nothing even budging it. Eventually ill try to get some heat and hopefully loosen it up. Just want the cap off so i can see if the well even has water.

Check around house for a valve box, may have to use a probe to find it if there is one. Also look in garage or shed for a low voltage cable with several wires in it. Most likely where timer would go,

The electrical box photo has wires running to the valves in the circle boxes also pictured.

I assume its either really old, or parts were stolen from it along with the pump.
