How to remove casing from RJSE 50 Pump?

Hello. I am new to the forum, hoping for a little help. I have a Red Lion RJSE 50 pump with a cracked front casing (we had an unexpectedly cold night and it froze full of water). I have a second RJSE 50 that someone gave me for parts. It has a fried motor, but the casing is fine.

So, I need to remove the casings and swap the cracked one out for the good one. The trouble is I can't get them off. I removed the four bolts that hold the casing on. That loosened it up maybe a quarter inch, and it turns free of the motor now. But no matter how much I pull, wiggle, twist, and pry, neither of them will pull free.

The thing that really drives me crazy is that I know it's possible, because the older fried out pump has a casing that's a different color--someone swapped it out in the past.

Any help? Hate to spend a couple hundred bucks on a new pump if I can keep this one working. Thanks!
