Angry Well system pump

I periodically have my settling tank (holding tank) submersible pump running but is not pressuring up the well system to kick pressure switch off to the house. The pump is running and pushing water out what I would call the primer hole but system will not increase pressure. This just happens spuratically and for no apparent reason. It will work properly for weeks but will hear the pump running and check to find itís not pressuring up. I will shut the power off to the well system and wait for a minute and turn power back on. The pump will pressure the system up and shut off every time. It will work properly for a week, two weeks, three weeks or longer before it happens again. Any ideas as to what is causing this random issue.

Does no one have any idea what the problem could be with the well system?

Welcome to the forums.

Your problem is a little hard to understand and there were no takers.
I'm not really sure what you have.

Is this a two pump system where a large storage tank is filled from a well pump and then a high pressure pump is connected to the storage tank to pressurize the line to the house ?

This type of system is used with an underperforming or low yield well.
