Old pressure tank leaked-installed new one and a new pressure cut off switch. The system feeds a reserve tank as ocassionally I run dry- reserve tank has a larger pump to pull water up to house in case the switch kicks off from no water. Reserve tank is full- however when using water now- its coming from the reserve tank and not the pressure tank where the switch is. If I shut down the reserve tank pump- and try just the pressure tank- the gauge drops to zero- reserve tank pump on- pressure shoots to 35. When Im trying to pull water from the pressure tank- the switch keeps tripping off- I cannot hear any water coming into house no matter what. LOts of rain and dont use much water so dont think its dry- at a loss- is it the well pump in the ground?

I plan on installing a basement bathroom and would like to go with the in ground sewage ejector pit and pump. After getting the saniflo system and realizing this will be a disaster down the road after opening ot and seeing how poor quality it is. The first step is to get the pit and trenches jackammered open. How far away from the basement wall does this pit need to be out? I have a perfect spot in the corner of the basement (so a wall on the left and behind the pit when facing it). After I get this open, run the lines (correct pitch, etc.) what do I backfill with? There is crushed rock under there now. Then I just seal over with new concrete? Will the weight of this damage the PVC? Sorry for the questions, but my first time running under concrete. ​ Thanks for the help.
