I misunderstood, I was thinking a sump pit out in the backyard or somewhere.
I know what you have was allowed a long time ago, don't know it it still is or not. IMO I'd let it ride and see what happens. IF the home inspector flags it and the buyer thinks it's a problem you'll have time to rectify it.

Is your sump pump kicking on when the washer drains.
If yes then this is a definite no no as you are probably pumping grey water out to your back yard.
Also if you are using the washer when the sump pump is running due to ground water then you will be doing the same thing so I can see the inspector not passing this.

Ground water or gutter water collected by a sump pit or otherwise must not be routed into a septic tank. Most cities do not allow it to b drained into the sanitary sewer.
Washing machine water may be drained to septic tanks or sewers. This should not be collected by the same sump pit that collects ground water or gutter water since the detergent will shorten the life of the sump pump.
