How to determine manufacture date of well pump
Is there a way to determine the manufacture date of this well pump from the information in either of these images?

Do you have an approx age ?
Goulds JS5H pump.... L07 = December 2007
AO Smith motor..... J04 = October 2004
OR
Goulds JS5H pump..... L0785 = July 1985
AO Smith motor..... J0485 = April 1985

We were told that it was the same age as the pressure tank that we were given at the same time, which has a clearly marked manufacture date from 2018, but we're trying to verify that date before installing it.

Age coding is not always easy to see. I posted what the norm is.
I don't see anything in the model/serial numbers that would indicate 2018.
