Pressure tank won't keep up.

Hello everyone, first post so forgive me if I'm missing critical information.

I have a problem with my pump/pressure track. If I run my gargen hose or bath tub wide open the pressure tank drops to low and the pump does not keep up. I will loose all pressure and have to prime the tank again with the small are on the pressure switch. I have a submerged pump in an Artesian well. I
had changed the switch twice, the 4 inch stand pipe, checked and reset the air pressure to 28 lbs. This is getting very old..

Should I drain the the system again and check air pressure again, adjust the cut in for pump, or do I have a bad tank or weak pump. Any diagnostic help would be a great help.

Thanks
More information

With nothing using water and the pump to full pressure (off) flush a toilet. If the pump cycles on and off you have a waterlogged tank internal bladder is bad and it needs to be replaced. Other signs are if you get water at the air valve, or you have to keep adding air from time to time.

If all that passes then you likely have an issue with your pump or the actual well can't keep up with demand.

The pressure tank is only to keep the well pump from short cycling.
Your problem is not enough water.....it's either the pump or refresh rate.

Yes but if the psi is not set right the bladder can collapse on itself and block the opening and give you a no water situation...

When you reset the pressure switch (prime) do you get air coming out of the taps etc. ?
Did this system ever work correctly for you or are you new to it?

If yes then odds are that you are running out of water at the pump.
If no then odds are that it is a pump problem.

You can get a pressure switch that does not have the low pressure shut off feature (the arm).
This just fixes the symptom not the problem re: you will not have to reset it.
But if the pump comes loose from the pipe etc. then the pump will be on all the time and could burn out.

Could be a pump going bad or just the intake on the pump is partially plugged,

The pressure tank is usually connected with a tee to the water line.
You could remove the tank, cap the fitting and the system should still deliver normal water pressure.

If the pressure tank is not set properly but the pump and well are functioning adequately then it is possible to get a momentary loss of pressure at the faucet down to practically nothing but it should pick up again immediately to full pressure.
