Best Type, Size & HP/Strength Sump Pump

I laid a 3" PVC line for electric service from the pole to my new shop about 2 years ago & hopefully will be able to get the wire pulled this year.
Initially, I covered each end of the pipe but I wasnt expecting it to be a 2 year wait to get this done. So, over time, it has rained in the pipe & I'm not sure how much water is in it.
The line is 3 ft deep and fortunately is down hill all the way, so all the water should be on one end. I need to buy a pump for one time use (probably) to pull/suck the water in there, out.
I have a generator so I can use an electric pump. I have no clue about buying a pump for this. Size, vacuum strength, HP, inlet size etc.
No way for me to tell how much water is in there. Three inch line, 3 ft deep, about 250 ft long. I'd like to buy something from Harbor Freight... but not a necessity.

EDIT: Was looking at this one.

If each end was covered, i doubt much water will in there. How were the ends capped?

Norm, I thought I was going to have the wire pulled in a couple of weeks, so I just put some wal-mart bags over the ends sticking out of the ground & tapped the bags. Then two hurricanes came back to back. I had 19 trees down. Been trying to get them up for 2 years now (this will be the 3rd summer). Priorities took precedence. Hobby shop had to wait. Wal-mart bags didnt last long. Been raining in there for 2 years.
Its thick wall 3" electrical PVC... I wasn't too worried about it but the string I had in there to pull the rope, to pull the wire has rotted I am sure. Need to get the water out to suck another wal-mart bag through it to pull another string.

By the way, hope you're feeling better.

Yea, I know how "priorities" get in the way of things I want to do.
I think Marq's suggestion may be the best choice.
And thanks for the good wishes.

Just get whatever inexpensive pump is in stock at your store. It's not a fussy or high tech application so you just need "good enough". Personally I'd go for the cheapest pump they had that can do the job but I'd try to avoid a drill pump to save the wear of running one of my drills for an hour.

OK, thanks PD, I just wanted to make sure that whatever pump I bought would pull straight up for 3 ft. It looks like most any will, but I just didnt want to assume.
