Hot glue

A hot glue stick got into my very hot oven and melted how can I remove the residue saftley

I would use a putty knife to remove as much as possible. Then get the oven hot and wipe off the remaining glue residue with a cotton rag.

I would start the oven at low temps and increase slowly to see if you can reach the point where the glue is still mostly solid but warm enough to no longer be adhered to the oven.

Hot glue in oven

thanks for the help I was to scared to heat the oven again so I soaked a cotton cloth in vinegar and kept scraping at the glue with a credit card it has taken 3 days working on and off and soaking the cloth but I think it has gone

Too late now, but I wonder if using a hair dryer or heat gun would've made the job easier?
