Clock repair

How would you go about fixing this clock or would you just replace it? Idk what's wrong with it. After putting a fresh battery in it does nothing but I'm showing resistance, 4.5 ohms.

Yeah, it's a decent looking clock . I thought I'd check to see how easy it would be to remedy it. I'll keep my eye out for another "cheap". Thanks

Thanks. I didn't even know the term "movements" and looked it up and found indeed I can get em for nothing. Sounds good

Oh, what do you need for clocks with the hourly chime. "Cuckoo"?

Search for "clock mechanism with chime".

Here's something from Youtube (I did watch it and it is very informative). Selecting clock mechanism with chime

BTW: I ordered parts from them on Tuesday and they are scheduled to arrive today--regular shipping.

Awesome, thanks so much. Don't know why it keeps auto italicizing. And I'm assuming the fittings are standard for regular sized clocks? Well what's "regular" I wouldn't think it goes any smaller than what I'm working with, only bigger. I'll check that link later. Thanks.
