This is my first model car (Revell, plastic). Some parts have extra plastic pieces attached that are to be removed, as per the manual. Why are these plastic nodules here? They don’t seem to serve any purpose. I’ve attached a photo. Thanks! Revell Grease Lightning, plastic nodules
As said above, the cones are left over from the injection molding process. I believe the oval is a riser or 'overflow' to trap bubbles or voids that would ruining the casting.
For small parts, it's not worth the manufacturer's time to remove them-
Have two boys , turning 7 in February . They have the standard Walmart 1:24 New Bright RC trucks , looking to get something a bit bigger . Not looking for super expensive , just a bit bigger )not too much bigger , live in a condo and have to take them in the car ) that can drive outside on grass and maybe sand , we live next to the beach . Truck or dune buggy style I guess , price maybe 40-70$ ?
Just saw this video on youtube showing a squirrel launcher
( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNltR4iCRCA) and was wondering if anyone has built one
and would be willing to share plans, design for it....
Thanks
