2 Ways to Add a Baseboard to Wainscot Panelling

Wainscot paneling is a way to make your walls look great in your home. There are a couple of ways to add a baseboard to wainscot paneling if you already have it installed. Here is a quick guide of information that can help you through the process.

Adhesive is one way that you can easily attach the baseboard to the paneling. To do this, you can just look for wood adhesive or check with someone at the local hardware store. It is easy and inexpensive to do. However the downside is that you may find that you have a problem with it staying after some time. If you are looking for someone more permanent, you might want to try the nail gun.

Nail Gun

Using a nail gun is another great way to add baseboards to Wainscot paneling. For a nail gun, you will need to attach an air compressor before you begin the project. The upside to using a nail gun is that the baseboards will be on there securely and you won't have to worry about them coming loose or needing to be replaced or redone. The downside though is that you will have to go in after each one and fill the top of the holes and go over them.
