3 Tile Patterns for Your Childs Bathroom 3 Tile Patterns for Your Childs Bathroom
Children love color so choose tile patterns with a lot of color when tiling a child's bathroom.
1 - Black and White Pattern
Black and white are classic bathroom colors. Consider adding a third bright color to the bathroom tile pattern. If possible, choose one of you child's favorite colors. The black tiles can be used to create borders around features in the room. The 3 color tiles can then be arranged in a diagonal pattern on the walls.
2 - Checkerboard Pattern
A checkerboard pattern is a common bathroom tile pattern. Choose 2 colors that work well in the room and that your child likes. Lay the tiles next to each other in an alternating color pattern. You can make the checkerboard a bit more complex by adding a third color to the pattern. Consider using one solid color in one area and the checkerboard pattern in another.
3 - Mosaic Pattern
Mosaic patterns work well in small amounts such as in border or surround layouts. Mosaic patterns do not need to be as precise as checkerboard patterns and require less planning. Use tile colors that work well in the room and that your child likes. The tiles can even be broken into pieces before being installed.
