Make sure that you are keeping everything else relatively simple, because a single accent wall is typically enough color. Consider keeping the remainder of the bathroom a toned down color, or white. Keep the toned-down color in mind when choosing your accent wall, since the accent wall will be completely colored and everything else will be completely plain.

If you have plain colored or white walls, choose bright paintings to enliven the room.
