In order to build a subwoofer, you will need the proper tools to complete the job. A subwoofer will improve the quality of the sound. Here are some of the materials you must have to build a subwoofer:

1. Jigsaw

A jigsaw will be needed to cut out the patterns for the auto subwoofer pieces. It is important that pieces are cut in proper size. 

2. Router

You will need a router to cut holes in the patterns. This is where you will be placing the speaker that goes in an auto subwoofer.

3. Power drill

If you don’t have a router, you will need to use a drill with a large bit attachment. It will help you to make the holes in the wooden patterns of the subwoofer.

4. Tape measure

A simple tape measure will be needed to so that you can take measurements for building and installing the subwoofers. You will be using it even in pre-installation stage, while checking the space available.

5. Screwdrivers

You will need several screwdrivers with the different heads. Keep all screwdrivers handy when you build your subwoofer.
