Practical, durable and immanently stylish, an All-Clad stainless steel cookware set comes in several combinations, from 2-piece skillet sets to full 15-piece packages. Virtually any stovetop cooking task is possible with All-Clad sets. Whether it's a sauce, sauteed veggies, making a stew or any number of other culinary pursuits, All-Clad provides the right implement for the situation. With a 3-ply construction, this cookware conducts heat well while not reacting with any food chemically, so it comes out in full flavor.
Costing anywhere between $125 and $4,000 depending on the set, All-Clad cookware features a durable, tri-ply design. An outer layer of magnetic stainless steel features a mirror polish. The interior surface consists of silky smooth 18/10 stainless steel. In between, most sets feature a layer of heat conducting aluminum that extends up the sides of the vessels. All-Clad does feature, however, a set with a copper core at a much higher price. The cookware features cast and riveted stainless steel handles.
With any given size, the pieces will differ. All-Clad offers 2- to 30-piece units in stainless steel. A basic 14-piece stainless steel set includes 10- and 12-inch skillets, 3- and 6-quart saute pans with lids, a 4-quart chef's pan with lid, 2- and 3-quart saucepans with lids and an 8-quart stockpot and lid. The $4,000 30-piece copper-core cookware set features numerous additional pans, pots, inserts and a Dutch oven.
