Among the many automobile body kit accessories you will find on the market, those providing for LED headlights may be one of the most beneficial. The LED headlights can provide you with brighter and longer lasting lights. With the right kit and tools you should be able to install these lights on your vehicle fairly simply by following the instructions below.
Tools and Materials
- Rubber gloves
- Adjustable wrench
- LED lights
- Drill and bit
Step 1 – Disconnect Your Car's Battery Cable
To avoid potential electrical shock when you are working on your headlights, remove from your car battery the negative cable. Set it aside where it will not touch a metal part of your car. Locate and remove the head lamps for your car by loosening or removing any screws that hold the headlights into place.
Step 2 – Install the LED Arrays
Examine the LED arrays you've purchased to determine if additional screw holes will need to be made. Use a drill and metal drill bit to make needed screw holes. Position the arrays into the appropriate places and adjust for the proper levels. Then, tighten the screws and replace your battery cable.
