Can I build a concrete handicap ramp on a hill?

It is possible to build a concrete handicap ramp on a hill, although a hill will complicate the project somewhat. Building a ramp on a steep hill requires leveling the surface. The concrete form should be constructed so that the surface underneath and leading to the ramp will be level. The handicap ramp can then be constructed in the usual manner. If the slope of the hill is extremely gentle, then it will not be a problem to build the handicap ramp as usual. It is important to bear in mind that level landings at both the top and the bottom of a handicap ramp are always required by law.
