Check the Condenser
If it is an outdoor unit and the condenser is not working properly, you may want to check your breakers and fuses. If these seem to be fine, check that your thermostat is at the right temperature for cooling.
Change Your Filter

Wash Your Condenser Coil
Make sure that your air conditioner is off and unplugged. Spray water on the outside and inside of the coil, and clean it was a soft toothbrush.
