Closet Purse Organizer: 4 Ideas To Build Your Own Closet Purse Organizer: 4 Ideas To Build Your Own

So you are like most women and have a ton of purses and no room to put them. Without a closet purse organizer, you may find yourself tossing your purses around your house or throwing them in your closet, in no particular order. This makes finding the right purse for your outfit an impossible task. You need a way to keep them clean and within your reach.

There are many different, creative ways to build your own purse organizer to fit nicely in your closet. Below are four easy ways to keep your handbags neat and tidy and easily accessible.

    1. Shelves: In order to put up shelves in your closet, it really depends on your closet layout. If you are fortunate enough to have a large closet or walk in, then you may be able to buy some wall shelves to hang in the back of your closet and to place your bags on.
    2. Bookcase: Do you have an old bookcase that you don't seem to know what to do with? Why not put it in your closet and place all your purses in it? Again, this depends on the layout of your closet, but if you have a larger space, using this bookcase for storage will help you save money and space easily. If you do not have a bookcase or have a smaller closet, don't worry there are still other types of shelving or cases you could use. Try buying a cheap shelving unit with a few shelves in it that you can put in the back of your closet. These are fairly smaller than a bookcase and can come in wood, iron and steel. Some of them will allow you to adjust the amount of shelves you want, which might be a good idea in case you get more bags and need more space.
    3. Plastic Storage Drawers: The great things about these types of storage units is that they're cheap, light and can store a good amount of objects because they normally have deep drawers. These are similar to the bookcases, but offer something a bookcase doesn't: protection. The plastic units have drawers so you are able to slide your purses in and close the drawers so the dust stays away from them.
    4. Hanging Closet Organizer: While you could go out and buy an actual purse closet hanger for about $15 and up, you can also make your own that is less fancy and less money. There are multiple ways of making a hanging organizer, but the easiest and cheapest way is to put up hooks in your closet (you can get the plastic ones that are easily removable), or to even use an old key hanger if you do not have too many purses that need to be hung. This way they are off the ground and organized. You can also use a old coat rack that has various hooks on it, to drape your handbags off as well.

As you can see, there are multiple ways you can easily and affordably savor your purses by organizing them. Use your imagination and be creative. Remember, whatever you decide to use, it doesn't have to be fancy. Just use whatever works best for you and your purses.
