Concrete Path Molds: Basketweave Brick
With so many concrete path ideas and designs, it can be hard to choose just one. If you are redoing your patio or walkway, the basketweave brick may be the direction you should go in. Here is a little bit of information on this particular design to help decide if it is the right way to go for your project.
The bricks are set out in pairs that alternate direction. Two would lie vertically and then next to and below those would be two and two that lie horizontally. They would continue to switch off as the walkway or patio went on. It looks similar to a basket weave, like the name, in that it looks as if it goes under and over the next row.
Installing this type of design isn't difficult at all. You can hire someone or do it yourself easily. You will need to find rectangular bricks, and just alternate as you go a long.
The cost for this design is low. Bricks can be found at any hardware store or even online if you want to order a special design.
The basket weave design is great for any type of patio and gives a unique, classic and subtle look without overdoing it.
