Many people use it to cover their garage floors, as it is ideal for that application. Once it dries, it is very easy to clean and does not allow any moisture through it. While it does have some benefits under the right circumstances, it does include a few risks that you need to be aware of. Here are a few potential dangers associated with epoxy paint. 

Fumes

The biggest and most dangerous aspect associated with epoxy paint is the fumes that it gives off. When you are painting with epoxy paint, it will emit fumes that can cause some serious health problems. You need to make sure that the area you are working in is well ventilated. Keep the garage door open and fans going to get the fumes out. Take breaks often to avoid inhaling the fumes.

Skin Contact

Another possible danger that is associated with epoxy paint is when it comes in contact with your skin. Some people have been known to have reactions to epoxy paint on their skin. If you get any on your skin, be sure to clean it off in a timely manner.
