Do curves in a block retaining wall make it less sturdy? Do curves in a block retaining wall make it less sturdy?

Curves do not necessarily make a block retaining wall less sturdy, because the blocks that interlock with each other were made specifically for that purpose. There are blocks that are meant to tackle the curves in your application so you just have to fit them appropriately. These curved blocks interlock the same way as the normal blocks do, in order to specifically handle different designs. All you have to do is to get the correct curve or angle for your application. Therefore, when your block retaining wall is curved, it does not mean that the structural integrity is compromised and it is less sturdy, compared to the straight walls.
