Effortless Stainless Steel Sink Cleaning Effortless Stainless Steel Sink Cleaning

A stainless steel sink adds elegance to your kitchen. However, cleaning a stainless steel sink can be a daunting task. With simple household materials, you can make your stainless steel sink clean and shiny in no time.

Use Bleach

You can use bleach to clean your stainless steel sink. All you need to do is close the sink drain and fill it with hot water and then add a cupful of bleach. Leave the sink for 3 hours. Soak paper towels in the sink and lay them on the edges of the sink basin. Leave the paper towels in the sink for another 3 hours.

The last step is to drain the sink and removing the paper towels in the sink basin. Most of the dirt is gone by now because of the bleach. Remove the remaining dirt by scrubbing using a small toothbrush. By this time, you can easily remove any remaining dirt because of the softening effect of bleach. Rinse your sink with clean water and allow to dry. Wipe with a clean piece of cloth.

Use Baking Soda

Spray warm water all over the sink area including the sink basin. Sprinkle an even amount of baking soda on the stainless steel sink. Leave for 15 minutes. Scrub the baking soda into the sink using a bathroom scrubber. Rinse off the baking soda with cold water. Dry-wipe the sink with paper towels.
