  • Thaw the frozen food taken out from the freezer by putting it in the refrigerator. This will help in improving the cooling in the refrigerator.
  • Do not use the top shelf because items placed there prevent the free flow of air thereby making the compressor work harder. 
  • Do not open the doors of the refrigerator unless needed. 
  • Ensure that the refrigerator is full, but it should not be overloaded since that prevents the circulation of air inside the refrigerator. 
  • Fill up the empty space inside the freezer with water bags. Once they are frozen, they will keep the freezer cold.
  • Cover all the food items and liquids put in the refrigerator. This prevents humidity. 
  • Do not put hot food or liquids in the refrigerator. Allow them to cool down to the room temperature before placing them inside the refrigerator.
  • Organize your refrigerator well so that you do not have to keep the doors open for a long time to look for them.

  • Clean the gasket if it does not close properly or lubricate it.
