You can make your own garbage disposal cleaner with ingredients you have at home. With this homemade cleaner you will be able to keep your garbage disposal free of odor and and clogs.

Baking Soda and Vinegar Cleaner

Boil one gallon of water in a large pot on the stove. Put 1 cup of baking soda into your garbage disposal. Wait a moment and then pour 1 cup of white vinegar into your garbage disposal. The mixture will begin to foam. Wait several minutes and then pour the boiling water into the garbage disposal being careful with the hot pot. Cut a lemon or lime into small slices and put them into the disposal and turn it on for a few seconds. The lemon will freshen the disposal and eliminate grease.

Tea Tree Oil Cleaner

Fill a spray bottle halfway with vinegar and top it off with water. Leave enough room in the bottle for 4 tbsp of lemon juice and ten drops of tea tree oil. Replace the spray cap and shake until the mixture is combined. Spray the mixture into the disposal every time you use it.

Borax Cleaner

Fill a spray bottle with 2 cups of hot water, 2 tsp of lemon juice, a tsp of borax and washing soda.. Replace the spray cap and shake until the mixture is combined being careful with the hot temperature of the water. Spray the mixture into disposal every time you use it. 

Ice Cube Cleaner

Mix together a cup of water, 1/2 cup of vinegar and 1/2 cup lemon juice. Pour the liquid into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight. Once a week, put 2 or 3 cubes down the garbage disposal and
