How can I check how much weight arc welding aluminum can support?
The best way to check how much weight arc welding aluminum can support is trial and error, because welding in one condition can make it stronger than welding in another condition. For example, cold welding will create a stronger support then welding in regular temperatures. If you create a small-scale structure, you can place weights on top and calculate the ratio. This ratio can be adapted to larger structures, however just to be cautious, subtract 10 percent from the total weight. Therefore if a structure smaller than the original can hold 10 kilos, then the full-size structure should be able to hold 100 kilos minus 10 percent.
