How can I extend the life of my kitchen sink plumbing? How can I extend the life of my kitchen sink plumbing?

If you regularly maintain the parts of your kitchen sink, it will be a long time before you will need to replace kitchen plumbing. Prevent buildup of debris as it can clog up the pipes and cause the water to backlog. To prevent debris from clogging up the pipes, pour a sink unblocker product down the sink once a week, as smaller amounts of debris are easier to dislodge that larger ones. If you find that the water is draining slower than it normally does, use a plunger or straightened wire coat hanger to dislodge whatever debris has caused a blockage. Finally, if you find that any sections of the plumping are corroding, replace them as soon as possible.
