How do I remove stains from travertine floors? How do I remove stains from travertine floors?

To remove stains from travertine floors, you need to create a poultice out of things that you have around the house. Mix baby powder with hydrogen peroxide to make a paste. Apply the paste on top of the stain, and spread plastic wrap over the top of the paste. Tape it down with masking tape and leave in place for 24 hours. Then, remove the plastic and let the mixture dry. Once it is dry, you need to scrape it up. Whatever created the stain should now be absorbed into the mixture and out of your travertine floor.
