How long does it take for aluminum paint to dry?
Aluminum paint, unless it contains some extra color pigmentation, should dry in about the same period of time as non-aluminum paint. In other words, if you are painting on a warm day, it should take about an hour for it to become tacky and another hour for it to become hard. If it contains some extra pigmentation, it might take a tad longer, but in general these are good guidelines for aluminum paint. By the way, there are some quick-dry aluminum paints out there that offer drying within 15 minutes or less, although they are not high-gloss.
