As a car owner, you may be concerned about how often to change your car's transmission fluid filter. You'll no doubt want to be sure this filter will keep your transmission fluid clean enough that it will not cause damage to your vehicle's transmission. Unless you've checked in your vehicle's user guide, you may not know how often you should change this filter.
Although some auto mechanics may tell you it isn't necessary to change this this filter, at all, auto manufacturers will generally advise that you change it about every 60,000 miles. If your car is new, their advice is that the first change should be at 30,000 miles, although some manufacturers now recommend 100,000 miles.
