How Often Should the Weed Eater Line Be Replaced?
There is no set amount of time that must go by before you replace your weed eater line. Basically, you need to replace the line when it runs out. You will be able to tell when the weed eater line is at its end when it stops trimming the weeds effectively. Sometimes only a small piece of line will be left coming out of the base of the tool. At that point, you should stop working and check to see if you are out of line. If so, replace the spool.
