Building a pot rack wall mount is a quick project that will give you a charming decorative addition to your home, as well as additional space on which to store your pots and pans. Here we will give you the information you will need to build a simple wall mounted pot rack.

Step 1 - Secure Wood

You will first want to identify where you want the rack, and locate the studs in the walls in the identified area. The next step is to determine how long you want the rack to be. It is best if the rack extends slightly past the studs in the walls, so that the wood mount can be securely anchored to the studs.

Step 2 - Stain and Assemble

Make sure that the wood is stained and finished to the desired color before installation. Use 3 1/2 inch screws and drill to drive the screws through the wood and into the studs, and use the level to ensure the wood is even and level.

Step 3 - Secure Hooks

Identify how many hooks you want the rack to have, and mark (chalk works as it can be wiped off easily) evenly spaced intervals where you want the hooks. Secure the hooks with the 1 1/2 inch screws and drill.
