It's easy to collect snapdragon seeds and store them for planting. Snapdragons are a beautiful, and easy to grow and maintain. Here are a few tips for collecting and storing snapdragon seeds.
Collect the Seeds
The first step is to find some snapdragons. You may have some in your garden, or you can ask a neighbor if you can take some of the seeds from their snapdragon flowers. Next, find the pods. The pods are located on the plant's blooms. You'll have to wait until the blooms have dried to access the pod.
When the pod is dry and the plant has seeds, all you have to do is pop off the pod and shake the seeds into your hand. Or, you can gently roll the pod back and forth until the seeds come out.
Store the Seeds
To store the seeds, simply pour them into a zip lock bag and keep them in the refrigerator until you're ready to plant them.
Collecting and storing snapdragon seeds can be a lot of fun, and it's a good way to save money if you want to have snapdragons in your backyard garden.
