Before you can accurately fix a noise dishwasher, you must first narrow down where the noise is coming from. Here is a list of steps to check.

  • Test the inlet filter screens for damage. If it is damaged remove the filter screen and replace it with a new one.
  • Check the motor and mounts - If the motor is not properly mounted, it will rock back and forth causing noise every time the dishwasher runs. 
  • Check the spray arm for damage- If the spray arm is damaged it can cause noise while it spins. If you notice that the arms is bent or broken, replace it immediately.
