A Lazy Susan is very a convenient and useful device to keep your kitchen well organized. However, from time to time, the Lazy Susan gets stuck in place and needs fixing. When your Lazy Susan gets stuck on the kitchen table, here is what you should do.

Step 1 – Determine the Problem

Before you attempt to take the Lazy Susan apart and replace some of its parts, you need to determine the reason why the device is stuck in place. In most cases, loose screws, dislodge plates, faulty ball bearing and rust are to blame why the Lazy Susan will not budge when you attempt try to turn it.

Step 2 – Fix the Problem

To fix loose screws on the Lazy Susan, use a screwdriver to drive the screws in place. If one of the plates has torn loose or is ripped, you will need to replace the plate with a new one. To do this, you need to remove the screws that are holding the plate in place then remove the plate. After removing the old plate, put the new one in place and replace the screws.

Step 3 - Alternate Step

On the other hand, if the problem is on the ball bearing, you can solve the problem by putting lubricant to loosen up the corroded bearing. If lubricating the ball bearing does not solve the problem, you may replace the ball bearing with a new one.
