Tinted windows on your boat is an attractive element but when bubbles appear, you will want to know how to get bubbles out of your boat window tint. The appearance of bubbles in your tint does not mean that replacement is necessary. There are a couple of ways to restore your tint and give it a professional look.
If your vehicle is in a shaded area, you will need to move it to an area where the sun is shining. The heat from the sun will allow the adhesive between the heat and window to become easier to work with. It is a good idea to let your car sit for a few hours before you start.
Removing the Bubbles
Use a spray bottle filled with warm water to spray a mist on the affected area of the tint. You will only need a little water to make the adhesive malleable. Take a small stick pin or safety pin and burst each of the air bubbles. After popping each bubble, spray a mist on the area again and use a squeegee to smooth the bubbles out. Use a credit card to continue smoothing out the bubbles in long steady strokes. Be careful so that you won't rip the tint.
