If you are painting with latex paint, and some accidentally gets in your hair, don't panic. By following these simple steps you can get the paint out without ruining your hair.

Step 1 - Loosen the Latex Paint

The first thing you will need to do is loosen the paint. Section your hair off if it is long and work on one section at a time. Apply the WD-40 to the spots of paint in your hair and gently rub it in. If your hair is short, add a quarter-size amount to the palm of your hand and rub into your hair. After you have the WD-40 rubbed into the paint in your hair, you will need to shampoo.

Step 2 - Shampoo and Condition

Shampoo your hair well using the lather, rinse, and repeat process. You'll want to be sure to get all of the WD-40 out so you don't have greasy hair. Check after you rinse to see if you got all the paint out. If not, repeat the first step on the paint, then shampoo again. When all of the paint is out, condition your hair.
